@TruthPointUSA @niccruzpatane Also, the prius isn't close feature wise, can't drive itself, a battery system w/ 50 mi range is kinda worthless for complexity trade-off, is slower, etc. Again, to each their own, but to say Tesla gets smoked by hybrids is completely wrong.

@TruthPointUSA @niccruzpatane Respectfully, I believe your math is wrong. I mapped it out in a spreadsheet, with current CA and AZ gas and electricity prices, and the Tesla is always cheaper (100 and 1000 mile trips tested). The prius is kind of close w/ cheap gas and electricity on 1k mile trips.

@TruthPointUSA @niccruzpatane To each their own, but I'd be curious how your numbers compare with Tesla vs Hybrid. Hybrids are considered the worst for vehicle fires. Why own several Tesla's if they get smoked by tons of options?
