Telangana Police denied permission for @JanaSenaParty Chief Sri @PawanKalyan's 'Telangana Nava Nirmana Sankalpa Sabha' planned to be held on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day in Hyderabad tomorrow.

The reasons cited for rejecting the JanaSena Sadhaks Meeting raise more questions than they answer and appear more like excuses than genuine concerns.

How did the baseless remarks of an analyst and the counterarguments made against those baseless remarks suddenly become a threat to law and order across Telangana? Isn't that a lame excuse to stop the event?

So, making baseless allegations is acceptable, but responding to them is what supposedly triggers tensions? Neither JanaSena nor Pawan Kalyan garu dragged Telangana into this issue. The real question is: who brought regional sentiments into the debate and why? Why hasn't the Telangana Government taken any action against those who actually triggered regional sentiments in this discussion? They remained silent then, why?

It is unfortunate that the Telangana Government appears to have acted hastily, citing vague law-and-order concerns and parking issues, while the intention to stop the event had already been conveyed through selective narratives and half-cut videos promoted by certain ministers.

When Pawan Kalyan garu supported the development of Kondagattu and donated crores from his personal funds, nobody questioned his region. But when he comes to Telangana, the very land where JanaSena was born, to celebrate Telangana Formation Day with party cadre, suddenly regional sentiments are invoked.

And what about the parking argument?

Just yesterday and the day before, permissions were granted for large religious gatherings. Did parking not become an issue then?

This same venue has hosted corporate events with more than 2,000 attendees in the past. If parking was never a problem for those events, how did it suddenly become a problem for a JanaSena meeting?

A transformative step for Andhra Pradesh’s growth and connectivity

Heartfelt gratitude to the Union Government under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and Hon’ble Union Railway Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw ji for officially declaring in the Gazette of India for constituting the South Coast Railway Zone with headquarters at Visakhapatnam, effective from June 1, 2026.

This historic decision brings the Guntakal, Guntur and Vijayawada divisions of South Central Railway along with the restructured Waltair division, now renamed as Visakhapatnam division, under the new zone, significantly strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s railway network. The creation of a new Rayagada division under East Coast Railway further enhances operational efficiency.

This long-awaited step will accelerate regional development, improve connectivity and create new opportunities for the people of Andhra Pradesh.

People’s Verdict for Change and Development

The results of the elections across four states and one Union Territory clearly reflect the people’s preference for development and decisive change in governance. While Assam and Puducherry have reaffirmed support for development-oriented leadership, the people of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala have expressed a clear desire for political change.

Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri @narendramodi Ji, with the strategic direction of @BJP4India President Sri @NitinNabin, and the political acumen of Union Home Minister Sri @AmitShah, the Bharatiya Janata Party has achieved a historic victory in West Bengal.

On the sacred occasion of the 259th Birth Anniversary of Saint Tyagaraja, I offer my humble tributes to one of India’s greatest composer-saints, whose music transformed devotion into an eternal spiritual path and enriched the cultural soul of Bharat.

Sri Tyagaraja, born in Kakarla village of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh, remains a source of immense pride for the Telugu people. His contribution to Carnatic classical music is unparalleled. His compositions, rooted in devotion and enriched with philosophical depth, have elevated our musical tradition and brought enduring recognition to the richness of Telugu language and culture.

As one of the revered Trinity of Carnatic music, alongside Muthuswami Dikshitar and Syama Sastri, Saint Tyagaraja elevated Indian classical music to unparalleled spiritual and artistic heights. Deeply inspired by Purandara Dasa and immersed in devotion to Lord Sri Rama, he dedicated his entire life to composing music that united philosophy, emotion, and divine experience.

Musical tradition reveres Saint Tyagaraja as the composer of nearly 24,000 kritis. Yet, only about 730 compositions survive today, and barely 400 continue to live through active performance.This reality is a solemn reminder of our collective duty to urgently preserve, protect, and pass on this invaluable musical heritage to future generations

His immortal compositions like Jagadananda Karaka, Endaro mahanubhavulu, Bantu Reeti Koluvu, Samajavaragamana, and Nagumomu continue to inspire musicians and devotees across the world, rising above barriers of language and geography. Legendary maestros M. S. Subbulakshmi, Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, and D. K. Pattammal carried his divine music across continents, sharing the spiritual brilliance of Tyagaraja and richness of Carnatic music tradition with audiences around the world

My personal association with Chennai gave me the opportunity to witness the profound devotion with which Tyagaraja Aradhana is celebrated at Tiruvaiyaru in Tamil Nadu. Similar reverence is also seen in Hampi, Karnataka. Having witnessed this devotion across states, it becomes our cultural responsibility to celebrate Saint Tyagaraja’s legacy with equal devotion in Andhra Pradesh the land connected to his origins.

As custodians of this rich civilizational heritage, we reaffirm our commitment to preserve, nurture and strengthen the musical and spiritual heritage of Saint Tyagaraja and other great Telugu saint-poets such as Bammera Pothana and Annamacharya. With this vision, the following cultural initiatives should be encouraged and advanced through the collective efforts of government, cultural institutions, and society at large.

• State-level Tyagaraja Aradhana Utsavams in Andhra Pradesh: Institutionalizing annual celebrations with participation from leading musicians, scholars, students, and devotees from across Bharat and the world.

• Comprehensive Digitization Mission: Digitization of manuscripts, notations, rare recordings, oral traditions, and archival materials related to Saint Tyagaraja’s compositions in coordination with the Department of Culture.
