My LMSY Digital Team bestie @hcfoo has already been increasing content she shares of LMSY on IG + TikTok a few weeks ago and noticed there's quite a bit of engagement with what she shares there. We had a discussion regarding how to strategically help Sonya and Lookmhee grow and I mentioned it was:
1) Important that the focus extends beyond X and needs to be across at least the top 3 to 4 social media platforms because research shows people are using up to 7 social media services globally and LMSY's audience split from 7D tracking results show abt a 50/50 split between Thai and international audiences / followers / fans and these people will be split across multiple platforms. (See last 7D tracking data table I extracted from Talkwalker and shared on X broken down by top 25 countries with all their current tags and word association with Harmony Secret)
2) So we have to focus on the platforms which are most important - X, IG + TikTok and for the Thai fan base Line will likely also be important:
a) Where there's a lot of views / likes/ engagement with Sonya + Lookmhee's own content on their a/cs.
b) Where there are a high volume of following / interest for user generated + re-shared content of them + their shows and interviews by audiences/fans - X, IG, TikTok + YouTube.
c) Where growing their EMV (Earned Media Value) and ER (Engagement Rate) are critical to them gaining more interest from bigger + major brands and fashion magazines like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar + L'Officiel for collaborations + partnerships, endorsements + sponsorships in the long term. 3) From a demographics perspective Sonya + Lookmhee's fan base are of a younger age, so the focus should be also be on platforms where these fans/audiences are most active, which are IG and TikTok (look at data for favourite social media platforms broken down by age internationally).
From a strategic marketing + brand management standpoint, if we want to help them grow:
1) we need to make sure they always stay visible + top of mind among the top GL couple pairings / actresses. Which means, we need to maintain their @zanroo_global Top 10 GL actresses position, throughout the year, month-on-month with the longer term objective of improving their position on those rankings, even when they don't have a series on.
2) We need to use their tags on the top 3 social media platforms - not just the English tag #LMSY, but importantly also the Thai tag #ลูกหมีซอนญ่า because Zanroo tracks this across the platforms. And where relevant adding these other tags - #LMLookmhee + #Sonya + #HarmonySecret + #Affairtheseries. Also be careful not to use too many tags together during TPs on X such that the algorithm on the X platform treat posts like spam. During TP, use the most important tags and Keyword.
