CISF at Varanasi Airport, in collaboration with IIT-BHU, organised a Cyber Awareness Session for its personnel.

Prof. Mayank Singh from IIT-BHU apprised the force personnel about cyber safety guidelines, including phishing, the dark web, UPI fraud and financial frauds through fake links, along with necessary precautions to prevent such frauds and the importance of staying cyber-aware.

The session enhanced cyber awareness among CISF personnel, providing valuable insights into safeguarding themselves against cyber frauds and managing personal finances effectively.

🏃 Defying Human Limits. 120 KM of Grit. One Remarkable Achievement

Pushing the boundaries of endurance, Shri Aishwarya Upadhyay, Team Commander/Asst. Commandant, successfully completed the Hell Race 120K Ultramarathon in Goa on 08 August 2026.

Among the 120 runners who started the 120K category, only 88 reached the finish line. The race tested participants with 1,800 metres of elevation gain, steep and undulating hills, dense forest stretches, slippery roads, relentless rain and high humidity.

Remarkably, Shri Aishwarya Upadhyay's longest running distance before this event was 42 km. In his first ultramarathon, he made a big leap to 120 km, nearly three times his previous best.

His remarkable achievement reflects the resilience, discipline and indomitable spirit that define CISF personnel.

A Wet Canteen at CISF Unit Uri-2 was inaugurated in the loving memory of the late Shri Manohar Singh, Dy. Commandant, the then Unit Commander. Conceived under his leadership, the project reflects his vision, camaraderie and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his personnel.

Though he could not witness its completion, his dream has now become a reality. More than a facility, the canteen stands as a lasting tribute to his leadership, esprit de corps and brotherhood.

Late Shri Manohar Singh, Dy. Commandant, will always be remembered with gratitude and respect, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations of CISF personnel.

DG CISF Inaugurates Newly Constructed Barrack Complex For CISF Personnel

In a significant step towards strengthening welfare and living standards of CISF personnel, a newly constructed Barrack Complex at CISF Unit CGBS New Delhi, Prime Ministers’ Museum & Library(PMM&L), was inaugurated by Shri Praveer Ranjan, DG/CISF on 15.04.2026.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Nripendra Misra, Chairman, PMM&L, Shri Ashwani Lohani, Director, PMM&L, Shri Saroj Kant Mallick, IG/NCR, and Shri G Sivakumar, DIG/CGBS, along with other dignitaries & senior officials.

The barrack complex includes air conditioned living accommodation for 55 personnel, a spacious mess with seating capacity of 36 personnel at a time, with attached kitchen & ration store, and an integrated secure kote (armoury) for arms and ammunition—further enhancing comfort, morale and operational readiness at this nationally significant location.

हमारी माँग है कि Central Armed Police Forces (General Administration) Bill, 2026 को detailed scrutiny के लिए Select Committee को भेज देना चाहिए।

हमारे जाँबाज़ CAPF Personnel के हक़ में हम ये बात कह रहें हैं।

मैं इन कारणों पर इस विधेयक का विरोध करता हूँ:

1. Deputation का Institutionalisation

वरिष्ठ पदों जैसे IG, ADG तथा विशेष रूप से SDG और DG स्तर पर निश्चित प्रतिनियुक्ति कोटा निर्धारित करके, यह विधेयक deputation/ प्रतिनियुक्ति को स्थायी बना देता है। इससे CAPF कैडर अधिकारियों के लिए नेतृत्व के अवसर सीमित होते हैं और एक असमान service structure को मजबूती मिलती है।

2. करियर प्रगति और मनोबल पर उलटा प्रभाव

यह कठोर deputation framework, प्रमोशन के अवसरों को सीमित करता है और CAPF अधिकारियों के करियर में stagnation को बढ़ावा देता है, जिससे उन armed forces के मनोबल पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ सकता है जो देश में आंतरिक सुरक्षा बनाए रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।

3. Consultation और representation का अभाव

यह विधेयक CAPF के लोगों से पर्याप्त consultation के बिना तैयार किया गया है और न ही उन्हें policy-making या cadre management में सार्थक भूमिका प्रदान करता है, जबकि इसके प्रावधानों से वे सीधे प्रभावित होते हैं।

4.Spirit of Judicial Directions की भावना का उल्लंघन

यह विधेयक Sanjay Prakash vs Union of India में Supreme Court of India द्वारा दिए गए निर्देशों के विपरीत है, जिसमें CAPF अधिकारियों को Organised Group A Services के रूप में मान्यता दी गई थी और deputation को कम करने का निर्देश दिया गया था। इन निर्देशों को लागू करने के बजाय, यह विधेयक Supreme Court के निर्देशों को प्रभावी रूप से कमजोर करता है।
