@engineers_feed Oil drilling rigs often drill to depths thousands of feet deep. Some up to twenty thousand feet deep. Some folks are getting their drinking water from hand dug wells or a drilled well maybe a hundred feet deep. Dumping used motor oil inches below the surface is mighty brainless.
