In the past 11 years, over ₹2,800 crore has been invested in infrastructure and development at AIIMS Delhi, reflecting the Government’s strong commitment to strengthening healthcare institutions.
Major developments include the Mother and Child Care Block, new OPD Block, Burns and Plastic Surgery Block, hostels, the National Centre for Ageing, and the National Cancer Institute, significantly enhancing patient care, research, and medical education facilities.

सती प्रथा, देवदासी प्रथा, बाल विवाह, छुआछूत, स्तन-कर जैसी अमानवीय कुरीतियाँ किसी भी समाज के माथे पर कलंक हैं। इन्हें उजागर करने पर कुछ लोग दूसरे धर्मों की कुरीतियाँ गिनाने लगते है, लेकिन सच यह है कि हर समाज को अपनी गलतियों पर आत्ममंथन और सुधार करना ही होगा
दुनिया या का बेस्ट लेक्चर!
क्लास में प्रोफेसर ने एक लड़की को बिना कारण बाहर निकाल दिया। लड़की ने पूछा, 'मैंने क्या किया?' लेकिन कोई जवाब नहीं मिला। वह चुपचाप बाहर चली गई। पूरी क्लास देखती रही, पर किसी ने कुछ नहीं कहा।
इसके बाद प्रोफेसर ने सवाल किया कानून क्यों बनाया गया है? छात्रों ने जवाब दिए न्याय, अधिकारों की रक्षा, सोशल ऑर्डर।
प्रोफेसर बोले जब मेरी तरफ़ से अन्याय हुआ, तब तुम सब चुप क्यों रहे? जब तुमने देखा कि तुम्हारी क्लासमेट के साथ गलत हुआ, तब किसी ने आवाज क्यों नहीं उठाई?
यही सबसे बड़ी गलती है हमें लगता है कि जब तक हमारे साथ कुछ नहीं हो रहा, तब तक चुप रहना सही है। पर याद रखो, आज अगर तुम चुप रहे, तो कल जब तुम्हारे साथ अन्याय होगा, तब भी कोई नहीं बोलेगा।
अन्याय के खिलाफ खड़ा होना सिर्फ हिम्मत नहीं, जिम्मेदारी है।
@skvdst@ArindamPhysics Very much needed sir, sir science communication session with focus on english should be done yearly basis by DST, not only for PhD, postdoc, interested young faculty, for few months online followed by finishing touch in a week session. This is lacking in our education system..
@skvdst@IndiaDST Sir our application was rejected without any feedback and mostly grant given to senior scientist while mid and early level scientist collaboration may lost for longer time and maximum benefit. Also I see very small number of fellowship to develop collaboration in diverse fields
