988 suicide crisis helpline launches across Canada. People having suicidal thoughts or other mental health distress can now call or text 988, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Around 12 people in Canada die by suicide every day according to the Public Health Agency of Canada. More than 200 people attempt suicide every day in Canada.
This years RED FM Gurpurab Radiothon will help bring Cardiac Cath Labs to Surrey. The RED FM Gurpurab Radiothon will be held on November 27 from 6 AM onwards.
Donations to Surrey Hospitals Foundation will be directed towards bringing two new cardiac catheterization labs (Cath labs) to Surrey.
