@MarielaAcunaM1@PhDVoice The world would be so much better place if people would actually understand that
research is about our capacity to process information
... and...
teaching is about the ability to communicate information.
AND BOTH ARE DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT!
@rohini_mohan@cinemapuram@genesiaalves My name is Dr Prachi Thakur, and I am a gender researcher and asst professor now. I am still asking the same questions I had as a kid - just with funding now! ;)
@vensr2000@cinemapuram@thebetterindia Thanks, I am 2 years late to this comment, but i would def love to address your team. Please connect with me on LinkedIn.

Research tip n32: [unpopular opinion] Have unconventional titles
Research doesn't need to be all 'motivation', 'exploration', 'examination', or 'moderation' and 'mediation'.
Research tip n31: Awesome results with no discussion = rejection.
Robust methods are good, but a good paper has good discussion - we want to know what you think happened with your analysis. And most importantly, why is it important to publish the results?!
Research tip n30: Read the name of the EIC for the journal!
I know it sounds common sense, but many papers come to us at Tourism Management Perspectives (EIC: Dr Catheryn Khoo) which is addressed to @jmcheer1, or @MariannaSigala!
Check who you're sending it to!
10. Your research will take some time - don't put your life on hold for it.
Go on travels, enrol in that painting class, and go on movie binge parties.
Research is a part of life, don't make it the life.
