@svcghost lol the right answer is "a place where I used to get dropped off for hours on a Saturday". There's also an indoor carousel right behind where the camera is!
@TheAmyCode It might! My accountant last year did not notice that I needed an adjusted cost basis (common with RSUs) and my tax liability went from $25k to half that when I pointed it out and she fixed it.
@devoncestes We also like https://t.co/UpW3EIq4eq with tofu and make okonomiyaki with almond flour. We also use sweet potatoes/chickpeas/quinoa to bulk things up and I just make sure to measure out portions.
@devoncestes It's tough! Not sure how adventurous your kids are but greek yogurt + nuts, egg based dishes any time (as quiches or frittatas), things like shakshuka with https://t.co/NufTEEYgQG rolled into a thin flat bread, this salad with soft boiled eggs https://t.co/QSVdF4Ghio
@TheGreenGreek Oh I will also say that I feel so lucky that we had the financial cushion/remote flexibility to make it possible. Factoring in local employment opportunities/salaries would have definitely made it even more complicated of an equation.
@TheGreenGreek Putting that into a Venn diagram with "friendly for raising kids as a queer family" and "walkable/bikeable" cut a very large portion of the US off our list.
@TheGreenGreek But also a big component was how seriously the state/municipalities were taking climate change. e.g. are the cities re-evaluating flood maps, are they investing in renewables to hedge against rising energy costs.
@_jbfitz But I guess since science doesn't exist in a cultural vacuum, the words "male" and "female" in that context don't either. Curious to see what other folks think.
@_jbfitz E.g. Someone with XX chromosomes that has the sex determining region of the Y chromosome (so XX at a genetic level) would have male reproductive structures. That person's gender could also be a woman.
@lizthedeveloper It's always shitty losing a parent, but it was reallyyy isolating to lose one in your 20s/30s. Not a lot of peers understand what you're going through. Sending lots of supportive vibes your way. β€οΈ
