What a move by the makers. Command able effort. Movies are made to make money and then @diljitdosanjh and his entire team of #satluj doing it for Late Jaswant Singh Ji is phenomenal effort.

They used a loophole.
Movies are made for
-theatrical release
- OTT release Only
The cuts demanded by CBFC are for theatrical release which can then be released with same cuts on OTT...
But an 'only OTT' release doesn't have to go through CBFC cuts.
The film was strategically renamed Satluj from Punjab95 without any noise. It then bypassed theatrical release and without delay was released on OTT since these platforms are self regulated and can release a movie without certification.
The makers including Diljit never promoted, marketed or even talked about the new name or the film. The Ministry was kept under impression that discussions regarding a movie named 'Punjab95' are still on when the same movie under a different name was simultaneously dropped on Zee5 without any whiff to anyone.
The Ministry was caught off guard. An already organised piracy brigade was set lose in India with full support of the makers to make sure the propaganda movie reaches all SM, Telegram, WhatsApp and what not....

This is all planned and then executed

Now here what has to be seen is that Zee5 is completely complicit in this planning and so this makes it important for the Ministry to review the unchecked freedom these OTT platforms have... And investigate and take action on Zee5 accordingly. Zeeglobal is still streaming the movie.

भाजपा सरकार आते ही प्रदेश में किसानों पर लाठीचार्ज जैसी घटनाएं सामने आने लगी हैं। हनुमानगढ़ जिले में DAP लेने के लिए लाइन में लगे हुए किसानों पर लाठीचार्ज निंदनीय है। 

मुख्यमंत्री बार-बार दावा करते हैं कि DAP एवं यूरिया की आपूर्ति पर्याप्त है तो फिर आखिर ऐसी नौबत क्यों आई कि डबल इंजन सरकार होने के बावजूद पहले यूरिया और अब DAP के लिए किसानों की लम्बी-लम्बी लाइनें क्यों लग रही हैं? पहले से ही परेशान इन किसानों पर लाठीचार्ज क्यों किया जा रहा है?

आज हनुमानगढ़ जिले के भादरा में किसान शांतिपूर्वक तरीके से DAP खाद के लिए लाइन में लगे थे, लेकिन सरकार के इशारे पर पुलिस द्वारा उन पर लाठीचार्ज करना केवल दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण नहीं, बल्कि शर्मनाक और अमानवीय है।

DAP खाद के लिए दर-दर भटकते किसान आज सरकारी व्यवस्था की नाकामी का सबसे बड़ा सबूत हैं। सरकार अन्नदाता को सुविधाएं देने की बजाय उन्हें पीट रही है – ये वही किसान हैं जो खेतों में दिन-रात मेहनत करके देश का पेट भरते हैं।

मैं इस अमानवीय कृत्य की घोर निंदा करता हूँ और मांग करता हूँ कि दोषी अधिकारियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए तथा किसानों को खाद की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित की जाए।
