I resigned from Bloomberg today. I spent the last three years turning routine market volatility into existential crises at both Bloomberg and Reuters. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to maximum-engagement doomerism and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
🧵
Margin of safety isn't a strategy. It's survival.
Benjamin Graham watched people lose everything by buying good companies at bad prices. He built a rule around it so you wouldn't have to learn the hard way.
The decisions that got you to ₹1,000 crore can prevent you from getting to ₹10,000 crore.
One of the harder things I learnt while building Marico was that success creates its own resistance to change. When something has worked for years, there is a natural tendency to protect it. The business model has delivered. The team knows how to execute it. The organisation has built confidence around it. Changing course can therefore feel riskier than continuing with what you know.
But scale changes the questions a business needs to ask. At one stage, the priority may be distribution. At another, it may be building brands, entering new categories, attracting different talent or creating capabilities that did not exist before.
Leaders therefore have to be willing to challenge the very choices they once fought hard to establish. Experience is valuable when it improves judgement. It becomes limiting when it turns yesterday’s success into tomorrow’s strategy.

"The fastest way to trigger neuroplasticity isn't playing brain games or reading research papers.
It's forcing your brain to fail repeatedly at something you have zero natural talent for. high frustration is the literal chemical signal that forces synaptic rewiring."
I use this Vinod Khosla tweet with apologies to Vinod, since tweets are often out-of-context or emotive, to launch a discussion on the trade-off between scaling up and building business models (profitability) that every business faces. https://t.co/KZSXWPEXK7
This guy is an asshole. Anyone who is telling you that removal of BJP is not a must is selling you fish oil and nothing else. He is Raghav Chaddha 2.0
Only one lady stood out among CJP. That was @neha_aisa. BJP and RSS actually need to be thrown out of this country for any change
First 15 years of my career, I deployed every saved penny into equities to reach to a level of first crore in 2004-05. Thereafter, second crore was easy, third much more easier.
If you have not inherited wealth from your parents, you need to make a lot of efforts to reach to a level say 2, 4, or 5 crores (equivalent to one crore in 2005) and then the compounding or wealth creation journey becomes pretty easy.
in 1996 when i started work, a good bunglow house in South Delhi used to cost 20Kg Gold
The same house in 2026 it costs perhaps 15 Kg Gold
Real Estate has not gotten expensive. The paper is dying.
One single family filed 16 fake cases under SC/ST act & earned lakhs of rupees in compensation!!
What a great business model!!

Are you checking your Vitamin B12 levels while taking B12 supplements?
If your lab report came back >2000 pg/mL, don’t panic! Here is what you need to know:
1. High B12 on Supplements is NOT Toxic
🔸Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin. When you take oral supplements or injections, your blood levels spike quickly because the vitamin is actively circulating.
🔸In the absence of severe liver or kidney disease, excess B12 is simply filtered by your kidneys and flushed out in your urine. A high number caused by supplements does NOT mean B12 toxicity.
2. Stop Rechecking B12 While on Supplements
🔸Testing B12 levels while actively taking supplements (or shortly after an injection) is essentially measuring the supplement in your blood; not your body's true baseline.
🔸It creates unnecessary anxiety.
🔸It adds extra cost without clinical benefit.
🔸Once deficiency is diagnosed and supplementation is started, routine re-testing of serum B12 is rarely necessary unless advised by your doctor.
3. Need an Accurate Baseline Test? Pause First!
If your doctor actually needs to recheck your baseline B12 levels (or if you want an accurate post-treatment baseline):
🛑 Pause B12 supplements for at least 1 to 2 weeks (and ideally longer for high-dose injections) before giving your blood sample. This gives your body time to clear exogenous B12 so the test reflects your true physiological level.
Key Takeaway
✅If you are taking B12 and your test result shows "High" or ">2000": Relax. It is just the supplement doing its job in the bloodstream.
✅Consult your physician regarding your treatment duration rather than worrying about the test numbers!

I got two missed calls and a SMS to call courier with a 15 digit no
*21*89698 49428#
There was a call after some time to dial the number
I checked in google to see what fraud this was
This is the reply
Dialing *21*8969849428# will immediately activate unconditional call forwarding from your phone line to the scammer's number.
This is a well-known USSD-based call forwarding scam. Once activated, fraudsters will silently intercept all your incoming calls, allowing them to steal voice OTPs, hijack your WhatsApp or Telegram accounts, and compromise your bank details.
If you or someone else accidentally dialed this code, open your phone's dialer right away and dial ##002# to completely deactivate all call forwarding services. You can also verify your line's current forwarding status at any time by dialing *#21#.
Always be careful.
Never dial such numbers .
