I just returned from CERAWeek, an annual oil and gas conference in Houston. And I am convinced India can fulfil its demand for energy just replicating what they are doing in the US. Complete freedom to operate and technology are the need of the hour.

India has a huge presence here at the conference, everyone from the oil and gas sector. We should have one of the CERAWeeks in India so that the world knows our country’s potential and the openness of the Government

In the present difficult times, our Prime Minister has shown strong leadership with his friendships across the nations. He is very progressive and business-oriented. He is pro technology-led advancement. Today if you look around the world and spot something being developed, you will find an element of Indian-ness in it.

At Vedanta's Cairn, we have come to US with a shopping bag to spend $5 billion in services, drilling and technology. What stands out most here is the mindset and the willingness to act.
