@IndiGo6E If it is indeed for verification purposes, then why is a digital copy of the card insufficient, why does indigo need a paper copy of the card?
Moreover, if someone has used an international card for booking a ticket for someone else, there can be genuine reasons for it!
@IndiGo6E Why do you need a paper copy of credit card if someone has done the booking on behalf of someone else using an international card? Even if I remove the CVV/CID it is still very insecure to have a copy of the full card number with validity date printed on paper!
@IndiGo6E I have been made well aware of that rule, hence my tweet. Is Indigo aware of how insecure it is to have a photocopy of the card with 'most' of its details available? Your customer care executive has asked to bring a paper based copy of the card!
