@sweatystartup Or if you are going to use online jobs ph or some platform like this - I highly recommend you to check VAs with @1wayInterview for English and comms skills first.
@Mike_Scully_ Use @1wayInterview to do async video interviews. This is very important step that will allow you to check for English and basic steps before booking an in-person interview.
@AlexWri35213412@Codie_Sanchez Nope, while we were dropping off our luggage to walk around, the receptionist checked if the room was ready and said the previous guests had checked out just five minutes earlier, so they needed an hour to brush it up and we were welcome to go ahead and use the room.
@_ProfitPath It’s important though to do a video screening via a tool like @1wayInterview
Photo in CV may be misleading and you want to test the language and presentation skills anyway
When I meet early stage founders who obsess with naming of their startup or developing visual identity before any sales I like to remind them the most successful domain registrar is called “Go Daddy”
This guy is soon to be unicorn btw 👇
@DavidSacks Dude every other mention of America on their national tv is about how stupid people are or how new unparalleled weapon creating by some drunk russian guy would wipe it off the face of earth.
Wake up - you are either extremely delusional or are paid by russians. Both are sad.
Excessive sugar, please!
When I moved from Europe a while back, the first thing I noticed about the food here was how much sugar is in everything!
Sweets are way sweeter than in Europe—which doesn’t actually make them taste better, just more sugary—and that part is kind of expected.
But even bacon, ketchup, bread—everything was surprisingly sweet.
I’m afraid this is exactly what’s fueling the diabetes epidemic in our country.
We try hard to find healthy food, but it’s tough to shield my kid from this full-on sugar overload when all her friends are eating it too.
Why people are silent on Cursor modes?
A few months ago, the "thinking" models came out - very powerful but hard to control.
I even saw a post today from @marclou that resonated with a lot of people.
But there is a simple way to fix it: cursor modes 👇

I stopped using sonnet.
It felt like coding with a drunk friend—fun until he installs new packages or edits other components “for fun.”
My prompt used to be 50% instructions and 50% dont-dos.
Switched to gemini-2.5. Finally, some peace.
