Over the past two years, Drew and I have been slowing rebuilding John Company from the ground up. Though there's still months of work ahead of us, I am so happy to finally be able to share it with you all. https://t.co/gVR0zVOLUS
@josephnschmidt Would have loved for RBR pull off the win to shake things up a bit, but the gap between Mercedes and them looks to be slim so I’ll take it!
@canibeblue@NakedMeeple ..just found it strange that it was his Covid post that kicked all this off, when he's been making arguably more reprehensible statements for years. Either way, I'm glad he's being rightly called out now by many more people now. Better late than never. 2/2
@canibeblue@NakedMeeple That's fair. My comment was referring to people who had read it, knew about his views on a variety of topics and continued to support him. I've seen a number of comments like, "oh he's just like that old harmless uncle without a filter", which is disappointing. I guess I...1/2

@turnorder ..but pretty math problem packaged up as a game. I’m certain that it is a great analog simulation, not sure it is a great game. I love it. 2/2
@turnorder I’ve never played 504, but “build your own game” is an impressive take on Friese’s part. The thing I find innovative about LE is how the “problem” is presented. It strips away the layers of complexity (which I love in many other games) and leaves you with an unapologetic...1/2
@turnorder In my admittedly narrow view on the subject, I think the innovation is coming mostly from “Indie” designers/companies. I don’t play many games or even new games all the time. So the titles I’ve found innovative recently are quite old - Neuland, Leaving Earth and Reef Encounter.
