In the past 100 days, Keralam has witnessed a dangerous rise in hate speech targeting Hindu faith and traditions.

The recent abuse directed at Lord Ayyappa by individuals linked to the IUML and Jamaat-e-Islami is the latest unacceptable example.

Such remarks cross all constitutional boundaries. Abuse of religious faith is not free speech. It is a violation of Article 19 and democratic rights.

Yet CM @vdsatheesan , Home Minister @chennithala and Devaswom Minister K. Muraleedharan maintain a deliberate, selective silence and delay legal action. This is evidence of the government’s support for Hindu-haters.

The Congress/IUML administration acts swiftly when it suits their vote-bank agenda. It turns a blind eye when Hindus are targeted.

This hypocrisy now stands fully exposed before all Malayalees.
