🚨 @Galxe is charging way too much gas fees for a single quest! This needs to change.

1/ The community is buzzing with concerns over Galxe’s rising gas fees. What used to cost around 0.15 $G has now jumped to 2.75 $G per quest (2.5 $G platform fee + 0.25 $G network fee). Many users feel this pricing model is unfair.

2/ This is especially problematic for projects with multiple quests. Some users report paying nearly $6 for just one task. Imagine the costs for those engaging in daily quests or long-term campaigns.

3/ The general sentiment? These fees aren’t just covering network costs they seem profit-driven. While gas fees help prevent bots, the current rates are excessive and could drive users away instead of attracting them.

4/ The community is calling for change:

Lower fees to a fair range (0.15 - 0.5 $G).
Rework the fee model to align with user expectations.
5/ Many users miss the days when Galxe had “gasless” transactions, where certain projects covered the fees, making participation easier and more inclusive.

6/ This isn’t just about fees it’s about Galxe’s direction. Is the platform shifting from being community-driven to profit-focused?

🤮🤮Another disappointing L1 project that has completely let down its early users.

If we look at history, any project that did not provide fair allocation to the community has faced terrible consequences, with almost 70-90% downtrend.

Examples: Xion, Scroll, Starknet, and many more...

Testnet users are the backbone of any L1 project, as they report every bug 🐛, allowing developers to fix issues before the mainnet launch, and all testing gets done prior to mainnet deployment.

The Berachain team has disrespected its early supporters by allocating only 1.65% of the total supply to testnet users, who truly deserve the $BERA token the most.

At the very least, the team should allocate 5% of the total supply to testnet users, ensuring fair allocation for early supporters.

I hope the team considers this and provides fair allocation to testnet users. @berachain @SmokeyTheBera
