Excited to announce @fliptexts’ $1.4M pre-seed, and that we’ve joined @a16z@speedrun!
When @notolegv, @ajiang_xyz and I started building in January, we were stunned at how outdated money apps still are. So we built the finance-expert friend we always wished we had: one that fits you, earns its place, grows into the job, and lives just one text away.
My financial life doesn’t look like anyone else’s. I’ve managed six figures for a school club, spent my formative years trading crypto, and I’m still too shy to ask my roommates to pay me back for WiFi.
Flip starts by automating my monthly roommate bill, checking my wallets before I think to, nudging me to use my Dunkin credit before my Amex benefits expire, making sure my retirement accounts are stable, watching my cloud bills, scanning to see if my Netflix membership is *really* worth it, and finding discounts on late night food delivery.
We're making sure that no matter what your goals are with money: saving more, or making more, Flip is there to help you achieve that.
Couldn’t be more excited to build this with our partners

(4/5) One thing we’ve built is a “kittens” virtual machine that takes over the whole GPU and allows new kinds of co-optimization. We can go past the traditional sequential kernel model – for example, fusing entire training runs into a single kernel and even weirder stuff.

I wanted to see what the kernels from @Si_Boehm's post would look like with CuTe. It turned out to be a great way to explain some of the foundational patterns of the library. Features nice interactive visualizations and side-by-side code snippets. Enjoy!
@vikhyatk@moondreamai ive been following moondream for a while and would love to see it! Esp bc I’ve been working a lot with Orin inference optimization recently for edge cv and tensorrt is the best you can do short of custom kernels. Curious how much juice there is yet to squeeze.
