My maternal grandmother Rani Kaku Smt. Vimalbai Rajabhau Shinde-Patil’s 81st birthday in Yavatmal. It was a beautifully rare yet emotional moment in time and brought all my cousins, family and relatives under one roof after ages. May ajji live to be over a 100, may god bless her and Jai Hind!

An innocent young man, Deepu Chandra Das was lynched and burnt alive by a radicalised mob in Bangladesh for being born to a hindu minority there. This is horrendous and hurtful. May god give his family immense strength and swift justice. All eyes on Bangladesh. Jai Hind!

A first-ever digital census in India, this will lead to comprehensive enumeration of our demography, ensure inclusivity and representation of all and facilitate evidence-based resource allocation for social welfare and justice. A crucial exercise towards actualising the goal of Viksit Bharat, this also advances the vision of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’.

Indian women boxers who brought laurels to the nation at the 2025 World Boxing Championships in Liverpool called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Ms Jaismine and Ms Minakshi won the gold medals, Ms Nupur brought home the silver medal, whereas Ms Pooja Rani was the bronze winner. The President congratulated them for their exceptional performances. Office-bearers of the Boxing Federation of India were also present on the occasion.
