How can dependency on college placements be a feature? It’s a flaw. Did the college help, or did you just play along in a system that never taught you to stand on your own?

At IIMA, we have to read a book named “The Lottery of Birth”, as part of a course.
As the name goes, the book talks about how people tend to attribute their success solely to merit, while ignoring their privilege.
Not everyone likes that book as it questions their privilege :)
