@elonmusk Sensible comments by readers on @nytimes's so-called investigative piece on Elon Musk.
No errors, No bugs but we feel without any evidence there are errors/bugs.. this is not journalism.
Simply retrieving a reasoning trace looks a lot like human reasoning, until it's time to navigate uncharted territory. If you memorized all reasoning traces of humans from 10,000 BC, you could automate their lives but you could not invent modern civilization.
@fchollet I fear vibe coding ends new programming languages and compilers. If most programming becomes prompting LLMs to remix memorized patterns, who will invent better abstractions, runtimes or type systems?
@IntCyberDigest Even @SamsungMobile@SamsungMobileUS have notification history, there is an option to switch it off.
But the biggest security flaw that has been present for years is Samsung's clipboard on its mobiles. Why is nobody talking about it?
@code Thanks for the new default themes and also for in-built themes name standardization. One suggestion can you include free monospace fonts like Windows Terminal include Cascadia Code with vscode installation.
@moneyball I'm using Goose Windows version and it is very good. I find it more organized, creating readme.md and requirements.txt files and it doesn't hide what it is doing and even from early versions it is clear, fluid and transparent in explanation. I also have CLI version on WSL2.
@jack
@naval Yes.. also hard to debug and also the strong feeling of it is my code and creation is missing. Years ago, when I used matplotlib, seaborn, bokeh, holoviews, pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn.. to implement probability models & distributions it felt like an achievement..
There is a particular attitude that I learned from the great Franklin Antonio at Qualcomm: "however great your design is, if you haven't tested it, it doesn't work".
I keep that in mind. The engineer has to be very humble because reality can surprise us in ways we cannot predict.
Let me be blunt. Those who are afraid of AI feel deep down that they are impostors & have no edge. If you have a 1) clear mind, 2) a deep, not just cosmetic, undertanding of your specialty, 3) and/or are original enough to reinvent yourself when needed, AI will be your friend.
@luumelo14 @pythonvscode Yes, I'm using a theme that supports semantic highlighting. The issue is present in both in-built and customized themes. Thank you very much for the reply.
