His unique combination of policy insight, business acumen, and operational leadership positions him well to drive operational excellence, business innovation, and customer-centric growth across Indian Railways.

Developed by Shri Manish Saurabh, Sr. Divisional Operations Manager, Sonpur, SAMAY brings in technological intervention to replace manual memory-based registers maintain by Station Masters to structured digital records stored securely on cloud server.

The platform introduces real-time alerts, automated train data display, and rule-based restrictions that prevent unsafe operations.

Shri Prabhas Dansana (IRTS:1989) officially assumed charge as Director General of the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO), Lucknow.

He has previously served as Principal Executive Director,Railway Board; PCOM, PCCM, CFTM of Zonal Railways; and as DRM. He brings extensive experience in train operations, commercial, general administration to lead India's premier railway research and standards body.

Shri Verma has vast experience of over 35 years across general administration, operations, safety and commercial functions. He had a key role in further improvement in Indian Railway's safety record.

•DRM, Salem Division
