#AskGovernorMurphy#WNYC you guys do a lousy job is holding the governor responsible. This is an everyday occurrence that commuters deal with. And what is NJTs reply ? Increase the fares by 15%. There is no way you can do this in private enterprise.
#AskGovernorMurphy
This is the reality all the NJT commuters live with everyday while you go on telling folks there is no problem and increasing the fares. It’s just crazy
#AskGovernorMurphy
How on earth can you justify a 15% increase by saying it is less than the 38% increase done by prior administration? The question really is what is a fair price to travel from Princeton to NY ? Is it $517 in July , $595 in 2025 and so on ? Have a heart.. sheesh
#AskGovernorMurphy
The cost for this is roughly $450/month for a place like Princeton to NY. Comparing costs with other transit systems such as LIRR, their trains run more predictably and is about half the cost.
#AskGovernorMurphy
Contrary to your assertion, #NJTransit service has been bad beyond words. As someone who rides the NE Corridor trains I can attest to the cancelled /delayed trains 3/5 days in a work week.
