Today, 16 July 2026 (Thursday), marks the sacred Jagannath Rath Yatra, one of the most revered Hindu festivals. On this day, Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra are taken in magnificent wooden chariots from the Jagannath Temple in Puri to the Gundicha Temple. The festival symbolizes the Lord coming out of the temple to bless all devotees, irrespective of caste, creed, or status.
