We desperately need help!

Children and teachers spent as much as 7 hours on the road getting to school and back home today. Sadly, this is not a one-off event

We urgently need to invest in mass mobility & public transport, a bigger road network - long term investments for an ever growing #Bengaluru.

And meanwhile, there are things we can do now:

• Keep heavy vehicles off key roads during school peak hours
• Enforce penalties for wrong-side driving & other traffic violations
• Incentivise school buses & shared transport over individual vehicles
• Collect real mobility data and use simulation / “what-if” analysis to determine optimal school & office timings
• Fix potholes, blocked drains & other bottlenecks urgently

This area is home to some of Bengaluru’s and India’s best schools. Their parents & educators have built Brand Blr. And these thousands of children will power the future of our city & country

Surely we can do better for them & for the teachers, parents, staff & citizens who are losing hours of their lives on our roads every day. This needs both immediate action and long-term planning

I believe all stakeholders want what’s right for our citizens & city. So here’s hoping, praying … working collaboratively towards effective solutions

This middle class madam you see here pulling her own luggage, always dressed humbly, with a no-nonsense attitude?

She needs a big applause for what India has pulled with a 7.8% growth during one of the toughest global economic climate year.

She has delivered consistent growth for India, maneuvering India through multiple crises, while keeping inflation low and reducing deficit.

She just doesn't get enough credit for what she has done. In fact, she gets hate and mockery mostly. I think just because she's a woman.

> Delivered 7.6%+ avg GDP growth for past six years (after Covid, Ukraine war, Gulf war and trade war with USA)
> And cut income tax up to 13 lakhs and indirect tax to 9% at its lowest
> Done so many things for India better than all those Oxford, Cambridge economists before

But most people are being constantly blackpilled about the economy by foreign adversarial and political propaganda.

They keep parroting "high tax" "high inflation" as if everything was lower before. But the truth is, they were much higher and she has brought all down (taxes, deficit, NPAs, and inflation) while keeping growth good.

Even under this post we will find people complaining because that's how powerful the propaganda is. It is easy to blackpill and make people feel miserable when actually things are better now than before in so many ways.

For over a decade, I have passed by #PattandurAgraharaLake in our neighbourhood (Whitefield). It used to be one of the spots for birdwatching. Yes!

Today, the lake survives only on Google Maps. All the trees have been cut down and moved away in trucks. It’s just a barren land now and a compound wall came up in no time.

"ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಹಸುವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪವಿತ್ರವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲವೇ..? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಅದೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ..?"

ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ನಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿದರು:
"ನೀವು ಹಾಲಿನ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಹಸುವನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯೆಂದು ಅಲ್ಲ, ತಾಯಿಯೆಂದು ಕಾಣುತ್ತೇವೆ."
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಹಸು ಒಂದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯಂತೆ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳಿಗೆ ಅದ�� ತಾಯಿ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

ಶೋಭಾ ಡೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊನೆಯ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ:
*"ಹುಲಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ" ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವವನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಆದರೆ "ಹಸುವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ" ಎಂದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಅತಿರೇಕಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದು ಯಾಕೆ..?

ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸದಿರುವುದು ನಿಜವಾದ ದುಃಖಕರ ಸಂಗತಿ.
