AIChE is not over yet!! Mark your 📆
We have put together an exciting lineup of speakers on Thursday, tomorrow morning at 8 am at Hilton Aqua Salon D.
@BhamlaLab will be kicking it off with some cool science about entangled blobs of worms.
@ChEnected@aiche_mesd
Kumar ATOMIC lab will set it's foundations in Singapore this June and my lab will be recruiting excellent candidates at all levels of their studies. My group has 3 PhD openings and 1 postdoc opening. Please see the attached posting and reach out to me.

I am thrilled to share that I will be joining the Nanyang Technological University @NTUsg School of Materials Science and Engineering as a tenure-track assistant professor this June. The big move across the pond will begin soon. (1/n)
To say that I reached here all by myself would underscore the contribution of my mentors, letter writers (Andre Mkhoyan, Michael Tsapatsis, Nicholas Kotov, Sharon Glotzer, Rohit Bhargava),friends (you know who you are)and most importantly my parents (3/n)
I am excited to present a webinar hosted by JASCO next Tuesday (16th May) about our recent work on 3D metamaterials capable of tunable polarization rotation.

We published the experimental realization of these gold tetrahelices and their sensing properties in this @angew_chem article done in collaboration with Shunai Che's group @sjtu1896 https://t.co/ofBg5a2eai
My paper on understanding the role of coupled electromagnetic fields between small chiral molecules and large gold helices in Chiral Sensing 🍥 is out! Grateful for the contributions of my undergrad Alex Simon and postdoc mentor @kotov_group https://t.co/Be2GqnW2zZ
This work originated in the summer of 2020 during the height of the pandemic, when we were forced to stick to computer screens. Alex now a graduate student in Notestein lab @nu_chbe took on this beautiful journey with me of creating and simulating gold tetrahelices.

It was a pleasure to be interviewed by @SaraSkrabalak for this unique initiative by @ChemMater . I share my perspective on navigating academia as an immigrant in the US and as a post-doc during pandemic.

Happy and relieved to see that my work on fabricating 3D chiral structures with a 'twist', as a post-doc with @kotov_group @UMichChE is finally out for everyone to enjoy. Lucky that the paper made it to the cover.
