I bring out the news first . I am connected to nooks and corners in Tamilnadu and I am brave enough to write about the issue first and also name the caste of the perpetrators. I also do political advocacy along with media advocacy to demand justice for Human rights issues in the state .

I risk my fking life for bringing out the truth . And all it takes is one Dalit movie maker to make a statement taking his own sweet time and all go gaga about it .

The worst part of being a Dalit woman in India is that even your community will not respect you .

We Dalit women are the most oppressed,we are the bravest but at the same time we are treated as a shit for being one .

His name is CJ Thangachan, from the Cheraman tribal community in the forest area of Kottayam, Kerala. I met him last February at the Center for Development Studies in Thiruvananthapuram. The Cheraman community considers themselves descendants of Valluvar and speak an ancient form of Tamil. They run an organization dedicated to Valluvar and celebrate grand festivals in Kanyakumari. Sathan, who accompanied him, emphatically stated, "The Sabrimala tribal temple is our own Buddhist temple," which was surprising.
They are continuously fighting with the Kerala government for their constitutional rights and ancestral lands. The song he is singing is about indigenous land reclamation.

@NoBrokerCare Yesterday the property manager called us and told us that he will be refunding the token payment if he doesn't connect with the house owner. We waited for the entire day &he said that money will be refunded.But we haven't received any email communication reg the refund.
