I was able to build a TikTok UGC tracker in about 4 hours from just my phone via the Codex app

I went to sleep, and I only steered it a couple of times from my phone when I woke up
And of course, the entire stack is on @Cloudflare

First of all, I love Cloudflare 🧡

⋅ It's an old screenshot, but there have been a lot of delays and errors in workers/DO billing.
It made us chase the issues for weeks because
- we'd release some fixes
- we'd see billing for other products and think the issue is fixed (2nd image)
- but later that day or next, the DO billing used to show up again (3rd image); then you have to stop what you're working on and start on this issue again, release, wait for one-two days, and it repeats.
I wish the billing was real-time or with a few hrs of delay

⋅ I had high hopes for Agent/Inspector Lee, but it turned out like Inspector Carter lol.
It used to stop working after responding, but I understand it's still early. In comparison, @posthog's agent works really great. I gave up after the first try. I shared other feedback with Brayden.

⋅ We were able to track the issue because of CF's Observability MCP.
I gave access to Claude/Codex; we'd release fixes, ask Claude to analyze the usage after a few hours of fixes, and it finally caught the YJS issue after three days

- start building it
- hit a roadblock
- figure out how to overcome it
- repeat 4 and 5 for the rest of your life

Most people don't get past 1, the rest spiral into complacency after 4.

We're trying to get langsmith to work with and think/agents, and it's such a PITA to send traces manually and get accurate data for tokens and tool calls
