@internetfreedom Telegram is a broad communication app; as a startup we have production notification and delivery workflows right now that depend on Telegram. This is overreach of the highest order.
Govt's job is to provide a stability and get out of the way. Leave the disruption to startups.
@nixxin Thats what, Telegram is not some NEET app. It's a broad communication app; as a startup we have production notification and delivery workflows right now that depend on Telegram.
@Aditi_muses Telegram is not some NEET app. It's a broad communication app; as a startup we have production notification and delivery workflows right now that depend on Telegram.
India is such a non-serious place. Once they had even banned GitHub for a bit.
@AdityaRajKaul Bureaucrats gone wild.
Telegram is not some NEET app. It's a broad communication app; as a startup we have production notification and delivery workflows right now that depend on Telegram.
@TheHindh@ANI Telegram is not some NEET app. It's a broad communication app; as a startup we have production notification and delivery workflows right now that depend on Telegram.
@ANI This is ridiculous and it should be illegal to take such decisions - we have production notification and delivery workflows right now that depend on Telegram.
The US secretly approved a financial and maritime arrangement between Qatar and Iran, under which billions of dollars were paid to Tehran in exchange for free passage for Qatari tankers and ships through the Strait of Hormuz, three diplomatic officials now confirm.
This was a deliberate and conscious course of action by the US administration, which allowed its navy to turn a blind eye to the arrangement, in complete contradiction of its declared policy. The move was intended to ease the crisis in global energy markets and curb rising oil prices.

I run an NGO for tree plantation with 30 active volunteers - all within India.
It had to be registered for transparency of funds, running a current account, receiving donations, auditing the spends and filing ITRs.
RSS has 4 million estimated members, 88,000 shakhas (including many overseas), but is still not registered in India.
There are no audits, no tracking. No one knows how much funds they receive, and how much they spend. They do not file any ITR.
Why?
@EylonALevy There is zero Iranian threat to India. On the other hand the US has targeted and killed Indian civilian sailors in a cold blooded war crime.
@Steven86232722@AwakenWithJP@DerrickEvans4WV The Ayatollah who was killed was morally against nuclear weapons. Iran was already a signatory to the NPT and previous administrations already had put a better deal in place.
@DivaJain2 First attract investment, and then try to increase state income from those investments by changing the terms?
Can't fault an investor for hating on regulatory clampdowns that constrain their investment performance after the fact.
If the US is paying billions of dollars to Iran, why shouldn't the same US pay India for our 3 dead sailors?
The answer is simple, our PM Modi is a coward and the US administration knows that.
In this sovereign AI discussion, we are missing out a key strategic advantage:
Create an LLM trained by Shashi Tharoor. Will be the best in the world.
Simple.
UK intercepts India-bound shadow fleet oil tanker 'Smyrtos’
“The unflagged Aframax tanker, carrying 101,400 tonnes of Ural crude from Russia's Ust-Luga Port to India's Sikka Port, was intercepted in English waters..” https://t.co/Azu3ehjtC5
US official tell @APNews that Navy gave enough warnings to MT Settebello crew before bombing it. No mention of 3 Indians that died. US doubling down on its "right" to shoot down any ship it deems to, if unchallenged, will set a precedent for the Indian Ocean region.
