@codewithanthony Great to see CPython now uses @pre_commit , I’ll be adding a mention of this to my books that cover pre-commit (Boost Your {Django,Git} DX).

pre-commit 3.0.0 has been released -- this removes some long-deprecated config stuff and adds first-class support for `golang` and `repo: local` support for `coursier`! https://t.co/Qhx6hfNgFu
@sbarnea it doesn't -- doing so is nearly intractable. it parallelizes _within_ a hook (unless that hook sets `require_serial: true` -- which might be cargo cult / by mistake)
. @_useRconf has accepted my talk on 'better commits with pre-commit'. If you are interested in enforcing high quality commits through automation (locally and on CI), this is for you. Hope to see you there #rstats#git@pre_commit https://t.co/FzLEKr0WvP
just a heads up, it looks like `pre-commit` coloring is broken in git 2.36.0 due to a regression in `git` -- follow along here: https://t.co/pCgABkcSLJ
pre-commit 2.18.0 has been released! this release improves handling of tags and worktrees among other things and has a bunch of fixes -- check it out! https://t.co/CQXDgBHrl6
pre-commit 2.17.0 has been released! this release adds support for `lua` as a new hook language as well as go 1.18+, alternative conda implementations and more -- check it out! https://t.co/UKQEoe6qFY
pre-commit-hooks 4.1.0 has been released -- this version improves a bunch of hooks and fixes a few bugs -- `pre-commit autoupdate` to get to the latest version (or just wait for https://t.co/PSwgeb4Smj to do it for you!) -- https://t.co/G7T1nsqyvl
