Prof. Stella Okunna has revealed on Gbam Interview that when Peter Obi appointed her as the commission for information in Anambra State, she was scared because she did not know who Peter Obi was and the character he possessed.
Prof. Stella explained that she had not met Peter Obi before she was appointed as the Commissioner for information and the day she met him for the first time, was the day he swore her and other appointees into the Anambra state civil service.
She said she wanted to turn down the offer because she did not know what kind of person he was and if he is someone who lies but she was persuaded by her family to take the job.
She explained that the first day she had a meeting with Peter Obi, she told him that as his commissioner for information, she would not tell lies on his behalf or forge any information to paint him as a saint in the eyes of the public.
Prof. Stella said when Peter Obi hears this, he smiled and told her that she will not have to worry about that when working with him and he would make sure that nothing like that happens in his administration.
She further revealed that throughout her time working with him, Peter Obi kept to his words and didn't ask her to publish any false information as the Commissioner for information and his Chief of Staff. She concluded by calling Peter Obi a world class Governor.

Update: Joel Omosere Agho, aka Mr Common Sense replies Asari Dokubo.
“Asari Dokubo over the years we’ve left you people to do whatever you like. You agitated and started Niger Delta militant to address oil resource control, poverty, degradation, under development and political marginalization. Now you are in governance with influence to do and undo. Incase you missed the question, I want you to tell us what has changed in the Niger Delta, what have you people done? A new militant group is rising, we may not have guns or be in the creeks, but we will ask questions. I ask you, what has changed?”
As a Nigerian, if this doesn’t open your eyes, then vex and provoke you, nothing else will!
If little Burkina Faso can build a Gold Refinery from scratch to finish in 3 years with 19 Million Dollars, Nigeria can build 147 of such with the money Tinubu has wasted in fixing our non functioning Refineries. (2.9 BILLION DOLLARS)
TINUBU IS INCOMPETENT AND HAS NO EXCUSE!
TINUBU MUST GO
You are paying more for less light.
DisCos made N603.64bn in Q2 2026 while parts of Nigeria were in blackout.
This was Tinubu when he went to 'visit' victims of massacres in Plateau;
“You have no light at the airport, and I have to fly back within the next 10 minutes."
“Once a political system has been corrupted right from the top to the lowest ranks of the bureaucracy . The problem is almost impossible to solve without a revolution”——Singapore’s former PM Lee Kuan Yew on corruption
Good Muslim kicked the extremists out. The West gave them asylum, microphones and grants, then told the good ones to shut up!
You’re not asking a question. You’re describing your own policy😂
Asari Dokubo is only angry because he isn't part of the group sharing the largesse.
By the way Nigeria has an active Navy but these are the people looking after our pipeline.
I don't think this is happening in any other country in the world.
If he's too rich to serve the public, then he shouldn't.
A public servant should work for the people not dunk on them. It's in the name.
He's a bottom barrelled individual. To think for a brief moment, I thought he had a bit of sense.
There is a tweet of someone saying, when you argue logic with a Nigerian, how much you have determines if you are right.
It's why our elites are of the bottom. Money is all that matters, your morals are immaterial. The source? Inconsequential. Just have money.
People that are dropping account for terrorists to do give away for them.
*Spits*.
Shame on @tokunbo_wahab. Anyway, he's a Nigerian lawyer. Just take a look at the profession as of today.
What a disgraceful joke!
Nigeria is classless society indeed. Where lawyers comport themselves no different from idle, poverty stricken and hopeless internet nuisances.
And you @Bond_not_james, I believe you know better.
But in any case, it is what it is.
EXPOSED: “Olu of Warri, Tompolo and Osahon Idahosa collect ₦2.7tn annually from the Nigerian Federal Government through pipeline contracts.”
Asari Dokubo said Tompolo is involved in the contracts but receives far less than the figures being alleged, while he himself has no involvement in the pipeline contracts.
He also claimed Arthur Eze previously held the contract and that he saw an Orji Uzor Kalu ( former Gov of abia state) -owned vessel operating in their waters.
