If (and that’s a big if), London has the perfect setup for a massive comeback. It’s a city like few others. People here are more motivated to work than rest of Europe. But the political landscape needs to shift and for the love of god, they need to stop shooting themselves in the foot over and over again!
Called reception at the Radisson Leicester Square this morning to arrange a black cab. The person answering had never heard of a black cab. A hotel. In central London. After a minute explaining what one was, I gave up. 😂
@ericstromberg@ashleevance Dontknow about “best.” Put a random NHL player against a random ATP player across a battery of athletic tests. NHL player wins in my book, all day
@TimurNegru You are right on the RE growth, but i suspect its the the flat tax wealth migration doing the heavy lifting and perhaps a bit of the Olympics. With zero GDP growth, hard to count on broad asset value appreciation. Value add plays still work, just wouldn’t bank on any macro help
@TimurNegru I like your content and your enthusiasm. Reality is that any “luxury” deal in Italy is a bad investment long term. At best no growth and really hard to sell. In RE, most important is to invest in a growing market, meaning capital expansion. Italy is a country in capital decline
