Congratulations to Shashi Tharoor for giving Keralam a "truly secular" government. The IUML (Indian Union Muslim League), who the Congress is in alliance with, is the successor of "the" Muslim League that led to the creation of Pakistan on purely religious lines.

A Hamas leader virtually addressed a rally in Kerala in 2023. Shashi himself got into trouble for calling Hamas a terrorist organization. He had to "clarify" his stand by claiming that he is pro-Palestine. If you want certain votes in India, you can't call Hamas a terror org in 2026.

Spokespersons of both the Congress & IUML refused to call Hamas a terrorist organization in a live debate with Rajdeep just days after Oct 7. But we must gloss over these minor details, and focus on symbolic niceties that don't mean anything.
