@unusual_whales This link doesn’t have any actual information. What are they being sued for? They promoted a product—ok—but what’s the theory of liability? Are they arguing fraudulent transfer bc FTX was insolvent when they paid them? Some sort of active involvement in the fraud?
@jonwu_ 👋 Senior Associate at a large firm here. Only a few firms charge that much for associates’ time. Totally possible there are an army of lawyers on this billing at that rate, but that would be an astronomical amount of billing and the bankruptcy court would have to approve it.
