This is the time for change. The @sesamestreet Townhall provided a platform to hear the voices, concerns, and hopes of children experiencing and questioning racism. We can do better. We will do better. Learn. Connect. Engage. #TrinityLearns#mustwatch
Thanks to @bholden86 I read this book and followed with a math activity! The kids thoroughly enjoyed it, I’m thankful🙏🏾 for your teachings......#preKMath

After differentiating between fiction and nonfiction, the Honey Badger teaching team showed students pictures of a dog, horse, and a blue bird. After examining each photo, the students wrote non-fiction statements about each animal. #TrinityLearns
In Pre-K we learn that there are 3 ways to read a book: Read the Words, Read the Pictures, and Retell the Story. These students chose a book during “Read to Self” and used their imaginations to read the pictures in this action packed story. #TrinityLearns
The other day G wrote a note for his friend A, when she opened it her smile could be seen a mile away! This little act of kindness really made her day! We love seeing these friendships build! (Repost from @leah_lenhardt ) #trinitylearns
After a long week of searching, we FINALLY found our GB Man! That sneaky cookie was in Mr. Marshall’s office! Our Honey Badgers were true to their form.. they completely, and somewhat savagely, tore him apart and began eating him right away! #TrinityLearns#PreK

Powerful words from @lester_laminack: “Equity is what we’re looking for in a classroom library. It’s about finding texts that honor the authenticity of a human.” Is yours complete? Whose voice is missing? #TCRWP#trinitylearns
Literally w/in the first 60 seconds of her keynote @LucyCalkins had thousands of us feeling like family and with tears streaming down our faces. How?🤔She was vulnerable. Today I’m witnessing others do the same. It’s a lesson in leadership❤️#TCRWP
“Whatever informational books your students are attracted to, be sure to read them aloud so you can model HOW to read informational books.” This will also prepare students for writing informational text. @KathyCollins15 #TCRWP#PreK#balancedliteracy#trinitylearns
Today we’re celebrating Ms. Harvey’s Birthday! The students completed a questionnaire about her age, favorite sayings, and what her life would look like if she was not a teacher. #kidssaythefunniestthings#trinitycares#trinitylearns
