Yep. Even @AAMC_MCAT’s own research supports the idea that the test is nothing more than a privilege test. Parental income and school resources are the strongest score predictors! If this is the data you willingly publish, imagine what the unpublished stuff says!

I got approved for the AAMC FAP program and now I can actually afford to apply to medical school . . . . I'm happy (very lucky) but the whole process was a complete ordeal of bullshit that is very classist and the sheer hurdles that people must jump to get help is overwhelming!

We are thrilled for this student, but it is irresponsible for us to ignore that the AAMC Fee Assistance Program is not accessible to the vast majority of non-traditional students and that its rules/policies are remarkably unclear. It’s hard to use because they don’t want it used.
