ATTENTION: Australia’s ban on the use of social media by Under-16s just took effect. Why such a huge decision by a developed nation? A powerful principle is at play: what their citizens see and hear consistently is shaping their future.
Transformational leaders know that the way to create sustainable change is to shape culture, and to do that you must shift mindsets and values. To shift mindsets, you must be intentional in influencing what your people see and hear consistently.
I show how to leverage this principle for personal, organizational and national shifts in my book, “SHIFTS: 6 Steps to Transform Your Mindset and Elevate Your Leadership”. It’s a must-have for CEOs and their team members, and for use at corporate retreats. Available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Target, etc. Or ask your local bookseller.
There’s an intern who has been quietly scheduling coffee chats with every leader in the org.
He started with a director.
Then a VP.
Then today, somehow, the CEO.
When I found out this was happening I called the CEO to apologize.
The CEO said it was fine, he liked the confidence and initiative.
He said he found the meeting "energizing".
I did not find that energizing.
I pulled the intern aside and reminded him that relationships with executives should develop gradually.
He said he thought he was supposed to be learning from leadership.
I told him learning has channels, and he was bypassing all of them.
If he builds any more momentum, someone will forget he’s an intern.

Bad news: McKinsey has arguably the toughest recruitment process in the world.
Their old test format, the PST, was highly feared. The replacement test, Solve - The McKinsey Game, is equally tough.
Good news: People pass it, including Nigerians.
I don’t have resources on it but there are tons of resources on Youtube and other online places.
All the best.
I don’t know if I was wrong, if I was truly insecure, but I can’t get over this conversation with my ex earlier this year
I pray God comes through for me and heal me🙏🏻

I don’t know who this may help,
But I will put this out here for someone.
You can now apply for something called “German Opportunity Card” which gives you visa to enter Germany for one year to work part time or to stay inside Germany and look for a job.
You do NOT have to get a job employment offer before you apply. This opportunity is open to everyone including Nigerians who live inside Nigeria.
The requirements are simple and achievable.
According to BBC, "those granted the Opportunity Card can live in Germany for up to one year while looking for work, rather than requiring an employer to sponsor them beforehand. The card also allows people to legally work part-time while searching for something more permanent".
You can visit the website of the German Embassy in Nigeria and fill the visa navigator form to see if you are eligible.
This may be that one opportunity of a lifetime that will change your life forever. Please check these websites. And please tell someone else as well.
You never know who this may help.
