@Ankster29 An interim solution I've heard of: Ask in-office folks to also join the meeting on their laptops with video turned (on for the benefit of remote folks). That would help keep track of chat, raised hands etc. Yet to try this out though.
@piyashpal No problem! Glad it helped! I remember feeling a bit exhausted while trying these methods. But the results kept me going. The hope is that you eventually develop a habit of doing some of these things.
As an introvert, I'm constantly trying to find ways to thrive at the workplace while staying true to myself. I've put together some tips that have worked for me in the past: https://t.co/r9FUqEgCK3. Do give it a read!
"Thereβs always room for better" - Ajay Prasad, one of the most humble design leaders I've had the fortune of working with.
This piece of advice was in relation to self-development.
"We donβt pick the cards we are dealt, or what someone around us says, does or feels. But, we can always choose how we respond. There is glorious freedom and power in that."
In continuation with the one-liners, here's one from Julie Zhou's newsletters.
"Treat uncertainty as part of the process" - Nishtha Pangle, the most zen manager I know.
I like to boil down helpful advice into one-liners that I can revisit. Will share a couple in the next few tweets! This one completely changed my perspective when approaching new projects.
Such a comprehensive guide around designing for search. Useful for those starting out with the feature but also a really informative read overall. Well done, @shashanksahayy! Learnt a ton from this one.
Search has been the most challenging problem space that I've come across so far. In this article, I've tried to explain the different stages in the Search funnel, how they work, the crucial decisions to make in these stages, and how to design for it. π

@kanikat1010@kanikat1010, thanks for that :) You're someone that's probably just as self-reflective as I am or maybe even more so! I thoroughly enjoy our conversations and benefit from them just as much.
After proofreading a bunch of articles, I've finally decided to give writing on Medium a go. Here's 'A bit about myself' where I talk about why I want to write in the first place. Keeping this first one short! Do give it a read: https://t.co/TMy8HhzPdd
