I spoke to Professor John Sweeney this morning about government formation. Ireland’s most authoritative voice on Climate Change supports the Programne for Government.
@stephenkearney7@irishexaminer What I commented on was the media attention that’s all and wondered why a non elected member would get such. The media have all the power in this world it seems

“Chefs are becoming more micro-regional, more hyper sensitive to regional “ ...”The future of food is attached to place - focused on flavour & stories” @DanBarber
@RoisinGarvey@drivetimerte Well done. And Mary White was excellent. ‘We’re a political party, not an NGO’! Time to get on with it. The country needs a government.
Glad to voice my support for the #PfG on @drivetimerte and highlight the urgency to help tackle health, climate, biodiversity, economic emergencies. The PfG is good. Let’s roll up our sleeves, make sure our policies are implemented & get through the #legislation to do it! #Greens
@D15Socialist @irishexaminer @saoirse_mchugh Have been an environmentalist all my life and green all the way my dear it’s the only logical way to be. I’m so delighted that they will have a strong voice in this government if enough people decide it’s our best chance and protecting the environment and people of this land
@D15Socialist @irishexaminer @saoirse_mchugh Dear me you sound very frustrated , I’m very happy to be a self employed single mother if that matters and I am expressing wonder not snide at all just stating that I don’t get why her opinion is any more valid than any other one of us non elected citizens not that big a deal
The week ahead is a crucial one, for the Green Party and for the future of our country. We remain committed to achieving the best possible outcome, to securing a Green recovery for Ireland, and to engaging on all levels with our membership as this process reaches a conclusion.
@Conlon57@EamonMelia@greenparty_ie Direct provision ended a massive change it’s been there 20 years concentration camps , brilliant change. 7 percent reduction in carbon emission lá annually!!! Also brilliant change I could go on but I’m delighted with the massive change of 12 Green TDs in government.
@PQuinn1980@greenparty_ie@EamonRyan End of direct provision , 7 percent carbon reduction. Twice as much spent of public transport than orivate these alone are monumental improvements the likes we’ve never seen before the future is bright with the Greens at the table
@VikingDrinks@greenparty_ie No this is a democratic society this is what people voted for and if 12 TDs from the Green Party isn’t the change most neede I don’t know what is . That is a massive change!
@greenparty_ie For the love of ireland and the planet please agree to this government formation, put survival of the planet before any other political or idealistic thoughts and get this over the line. We need the greens in power now not in the future when it’s too late
