I recently read the account of Sodom and Gomorrah and couldn't help but wonder. If Abraham didn't stop at ten, but went down to if just one righteous person was found in the city would God have honored that request?
When I was Muslim, man, this verse used to mess me up.
Jesus on the cross saying, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
As a Muslim, I used to think: how does God feel forsaken by God? That sounds like weakness. That sounds like a prophet in pain.
But then I dug deeper.
And I realized Jesus was not speaking randomly. He was quoting Psalm 22.
That entire Psalm, written by King David centuries before Christ, is a prophecy about the crucifixion:
“They pierce my hands and feet.”
“They divide my garments among them.”
“All who see me mock me.”
In Jewish culture, quoting the first line of a Psalm pointed people to the entire passage.
So Jesus was not crying out in confusion.
He was declaring fulfillment.
He was saying: “This is that.”
And at the same time, He was carrying the full weight of sin, shame, abandonment, and suffering for humanity.
Every moment humanity has cried out, “God, where are you?” Christ stepped into that pain Himself.
That is not weakness.
That is intentional.
That is prophecy unfolding in real time.
That is the King bleeding on purpose so humanity could be brought near to God.
That is the Gospel.
I just finished an interview with Brad from Across Nigeria… and honestly, I’m sitting here stunned.
Today, he buried 14 Christians in a mass grave.
Two were infants.
One was a 4-year-old child.
And this isn’t some recycled internet story or political talking point. Brad was literally there today helping bury them. While on the way to investigate one attack, another Christian community was attacked. He said the violence is happening so fast they can barely keep up anymore.
What shocked me even more is this:
Brad shared that 72% of all Christians killed worldwide last year were killed in this region of Nigeria.
72%.
And hardly anybody is talking about it.
The mainstream media should be all over this. Instead, most people scrolling social media today have no idea our brothers and sisters in Christ are being slaughtered while churches are being forced underground.
Guys… this matters.
Please watch this interview.
Please pray for these families.
And PLEASE share this everywhere you can.
At this point, WE are the media.
WE are how people find out.
WE are the distribution network.
If enough ordinary people start sharing the truth, eventually the world will have to pay attention.
Watch the full conversation and help us get this story out.
@_ROB_29 Yeah, going to have to disagree with that one, as someone who works nights and works a very physically demanding job the naps I take on my lunch is what helps get me through the night.
@TVext This world is full of cruelty, and evil brother. The only thing that I cling to is my hope in Jesus.
Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
@AzerothPulse It's just a recolor of the trading post mount and weapons that they had months ago. Most of their efforts are most likely focused on the new expansion right around the corner, that would be my guess anyway.
@KeruboSk I mean you're alive and breathing, do you have the ability to see and hear? Do you have the use of all your limbs? I promise you there is always something to be thankful for.
@NotAmberBerries I've mostly ever done low level key runs, but nowadays I don't run them at all. The stress and toxicity of trying to do higher keys just isn't worth it. I want to enjoy my time in wow not stress out, that's what real life is for.
@lofibanshee I don't think I'll ever quit to be honest. I've taken breaks from time to time, but I always end up coming back. And with the direction they're going it looks like I won't be taking a break any time soon.
