@S_OkudzetoAblak@S_OkudzetoAblak have we considered waving the strict biometric requirement for newborns in countries without consular services? Eg. Doing a secure video call instead? Or temporary passport that expires in 3 months so parents can travel to have the permanent one done ?
@S_OkudzetoAblak@S_OkudzetoAblak if you look into this matter it would be greatly appreciated. Eg. Citizens in Romania need to have passports done at Prague. However a newborn cannot travel to Prague without a valid passport . Consulates are advising that parent travel with the new born. How???
@S_OkudzetoAblak@S_OkudzetoAblak must biometrics for babies be a compulsory requirement for passport application? If yes what measures have been put in place for citizens in countries without consulate services ? Eg. Quarterly, annual or semi-annual visit.
@S_OkudzetoAblak@S_OkudzetoAblak a GH parent gave birth to a child however they cannot travel to the nearest country for consulate services because the baby does not have a passport and the country of residence won’t issue a resident permit without a passport. What do we so in these situation
@S_OkudzetoAblak@S_OkudzetoAblak this post is about a Gap in the passport application system which has not been addressed. How do citizens in countries where we do not have a Ghanaian embassy apply for a passport (eg. When a child is born)?.
