That's why I love the Lollapalooza stages, they're all outdoors. Everyone can hear and watch the performance, whether they're in the lounge, under the trees, or even around the T-mobile stage. That's why the number of people who watched and heard SB19's performance was insane for a non-headliner. 🤯
From the Philippines, to the World. Indeed 🌍🇵🇭
Ang ganda ng Lawless sa live. 🔥 Sayang di ko navideohan ng buo kasi nagstop na magwork ung camera ng phone ko dahil nag-overheat na sya. 🥹 Kaloka. Stream Lawless mga ateccoooo.

The best review of SB19's Lollapalooza set didn't come from an A'TIN.
It came from two casual festival-goers who had never seen them before.
Huge thanks to the A'TIN who took the time to interview them. 🥹 The full conversation is even better than this clip.

Alam nyo ba, A'TIN? Kinaya natin since 2019 when they went viral. This fandom. This community never stopped. Hindi lang SB19, but we took on all those bumpy road to this destination kung nasaan tayo ngayon. A stronger fandom, built brick by brick para samahan ang SB19 sa pangarap nila.
We made it happen through the noise made by each one of us. Everyone's contribution matters. Tayo, ang SB19, at ang mga nakapaligid sa kanila.
Lollapalooza is definitely not the destination. If you know SB19, alam nyo na unang pagkakataon pa lang na ma-interview sila, isa na ang pinagsisigawan ng buong pagkatao nila, for their music to help PH economy, for the Filipino culture to flourish outside the country through their artistry, to bring OPM with them everywhere they go.
It all goes back to that dream. Being in big international stages is not the end goal, it's to bring the audience back home.
Malayo na, pero malayo pa.
Mata sa langit, paa sa lupa.
Those are not just words they spat out of nowhere. That's their compass to where they came from and where they are heading.
This is just a simple reminder to give attention to what matters most. Samahan natin sila in our own way. Leave the negativity behind. Their journey is our journey, so let's make it count!
SB19, just do what you do best. We'll try to match that energy from all corners of the world. Kasi nga di ba, from the Philippines to the world!

Can’t deny these facts -
✨They were the first homegrown Filipino boy group to perform there. Periodt.
✨The mics were on and they were hot.
✨They sang live and whilst doing all out choreography. Was it perfect? No. But I personally rather not see perfection. I want them to sweat, see their neck veins popping, see them remove articles of clothing. See make up running. Hear their voices falter while they move. Hear their voices soar while still. See them human who can still deliver seemingly perfect routines and make them appear flawless. And they did. They made sure they did the work. I got my money’s worth.
✨It was scorchingly hot. As a fan just jumping up and down, I was sweating my ass off quite literally. Imagine them doing waaay more while wearing what they were wearing while facing the sun. Yet they still delivered.
✨Their set was in the mid afternoon. At a smaller stage. They weren’t the headliners. Yet they drew the crowds in. A’tin came in full force but we were definitely outnumbered. There are several videos showing a mass exodus of fans walking past their stage towards the end. Some continued on their way but some definitely stopped and watched their set. We can’t fake that kind of organic encounter. No one forced them to stay. They stayed on their own accord.
We got nothing to prove especially to those who weren’t there. Especially to those with agendas you can smell the stink of a mile away. Focus on the boys and remember how they did us proud. This was all just a pipe dream before. But through their sheer talents, guts, and A’tin, we are all here and we made it happen. There are so much to be grateful for and there are still plenty to do. Let’s zone in on those. Let’s continue the momentum of lolla together. ❤️🔥
was watching my fancams & realized that the casuals in front of me said SB19 "looks good" and they were already choosing their bias 😭 they also said "that was the best performance ever" when SB19 finished performing

I've been trying to stay silent, but I've had enough.
SB19 performed with the sun literally blasting into their faces. No lighting director can control that. They were squinting, sweating, dancing full-out, and still singing louder than their backtracks.
Go stand outside at 3 PM facing the sun. Sing. Dance. Try to keep your eyes open and stay on pitch. FOR AN HOUR!
Only then can you compare that performance to one in a shaded venue with cooler temp, controlled lighting, props, and louder backtracks.
"Pumiyok daw?"
Even the best live performers crack sometimes. That's what happens when you actually sing louder live instead of hiding behind loud backtracks. SB19 has never been afraid to let people hear their real vocals.
Stell? He was still belting those signature high notes under the blazing heat. Filipino throat chakra, indeed. Kung ano boses nila sa mga tiktok covers, ganun din sa actual perf.
The choreography didn't disappear either. They were still hitting synchronized routines, jumps, and high-energy moves while singing live. That's not easy under normal conditions, let alone under DIRECT sunlight.
Hindi naman sobrang init? Aware ba kayo na may nahimatay sa audience? not just one but 2! I mean just think...
Lastly, the crowd wasn't handed to them. It built up naturally throughout the set coz people stayed, watched, and got louder with every song. No fancy props needed, the live vocals, choreography, charisma, Stell's brazillian dance, and crowd engagement were more than enough.
You don't have to like SB19. But if you're going to compare performances, compare them under the same conditions. Otherwise, you're comparing comfort to endurance.
My son, who lives in Chicago, picked me up (and another @TravelingAtin) from the airport (arrival 5:55am, Wednesday), took us to Uncle Mike’s Place for Filipino breakfast, dropped off Myra, helped me run errands before our tour, he and a friend even went to the game by our group sections, and on the day of, dropped us off at Lollapalooza at 1:30 PM, picked me up at 6 PM (I stayed specifically for SB19!), and took me to the hotel to pack and finally dropped me off at the airport for a 9pm, Thursday departure.
Little did I know, he was recording most of those times I was with him! He shared a bunch of stories on Instagram with his own funny commentary about my SB19 fangirling. Turns out his posts got some of his friends checking out SB19’s “Lawless” and their other music. Here’s a peek at some of his posts and some comments that followed.
I love that my son and 2 daughters fully embrace my SB19 fangirl era. They may not officially be A’TIN, but even they can't deny how good the boys are and how much they deserve international success.
As soon as SB19 stepped onto the Lollapalooza stage, I couldn’t hold back the tears.
So many memories came rushing back.
I was taken straight back to that 2019 clip — the one where they stood there, so humble and grateful, saying they wouldn’t have made it this far without every single A’TIN who supported them.
Then Josh’s words hit me even harder: “to celebrate all their achievements together.”
In that moment, I was pulled back to the present, trying to savor the very day we’ve all been dreaming of for years.
I believed in them. We all believed in them.
And now it’s finally happening. They’re really here, performing on one of the biggest stages in the world.
What once felt like a distant dream is now unfolding right before our eyes. 🥹
