I hate doing this kind of thing but it’s my birthday, so if you follow me on here and you’ve ever laughed at something I’ve tweeted out, it’d mean a lot to me if you gave $5 or $10 to @preventionpp today. They’re a great org that needs more support.

PPP is pleased to receive our first dollars from opioid settlement funds in a grant provided by @PADrugAlcohol. The 2-year grant will cover 4 critical roles within our harm reduction org to help navigate participants into harm reduction, medical, & behavioral health services.
We are expanding community-based harm reduction services with $1.5 million in funding secured in multistate opioid settlements by @GovernorShapiro during his time as Attorney General.
This Black History Month, we’re featuring some of the Black leaders of harm reduction at PPP! Larry Anderson is Director of Prevention Services:
“Harm reduction has a special place in my heart,” he says. “It hurts me to see other people hurting."

Three years into her sobriety, Cherry recently took a job as a support staff in PPP’s housing department.
