The proposed Kuppam airport and its implications for the Hosur–Krishnagiri industrial belt are not new developments.

If the details aren’t known, it’s better to seek clarity before responding, especially when you are also the Minister in-charge of Krishnagiri.

An Industries Minister should be aware of developments that could influence the region’s investment landscape, not ask for proof after the concern is raised.

TVK government may want to announce new groundbreaking schemes early on to demonstrate its character and political weight.

But such schemes will need to be designed and implemented carefully.
