Last week, our final visit this term from @AvonFireRescue was a huge success!

Learning important safety information and finding out all about the role of a fire officer led to some great conversation and insightful questions. Thanks Dave and well done @Bristol_BLC Year 6!

Yesterday, our Learning to Lead group from @MerchantsAc were lucky enough to spend a day at @CoBCollege! Students spent the day in the kitchens and then had a tour of all the different courses they could take part in, right on their doorstep!!

Going onto frozen ponds, reservoirs, lakes and canals is dangerous and can have fatal results.

It might be tempting to walk or play on the frozen water but the ice can easily break.

The temperature of the water is cold enough to take your breath away and lead to drowning.

Last week finished with Dave at @afrscyp visiting Learning To Lead students at @MerchantsAc and @HarecliveEACT. Meeting a real fire officer and trying out his fire kit helped us discover so much about the important role our fire service plays & learn valuable safety information!
