The deadline for registering for a postal vote is today at 5pm. It can be done online but some people may need assistance to do this. The reasons for accessing alternative routes for voting can be both physical and related to mental health! #votingasanoccupation @RCOTTrentregion

@RowenaPadamsey making an excellent point about voting being a valued occupation and what we as occupational therapists can do to support our patients in engaging in this! Remember if you're unable to get to a polling station you can apply for a postal vote or vote by proxy!

One of three things will now happen:

1. You’re transferred to someone who has no idea who you are or what you’ve just been talking about for the last twenty minutes. They say, “I’m not sure why you’ve been put through to me”
2. You’re put on hold and then eventually an automated voice tells you to “listen carefully to the following options…”
3. The line goes dead.
