Roger Waters becomes very emotional about Palestine 🇵🇸
He stands with the truth : "It’s quite clear to anyone with half a brain that they are committing genocide..."
Labour under Corbyn were going to create ten new National Parks, and plant two billion trees.
Starmers Labour are a dismal failure on the environment.
We could have decent environmental policies again, if we all sign up and vote for https://t.co/7wOGeFPput
Is this Government going to put the nail in the coffin of the joy of digging ground for potatoes on a cold, wet February Sunday afternoon?
The battle for the grass roots is on!

What is happening in Gaza is literally unspeakable.
I don't care what your politics are.
Americans don't want billions of their taxpayer dollars to be spent on the starvation of children.
Did you vote for this?
Cut in real wage/benefits
Queues for NHS appointments
Lousy social care
Crumbling schools
Poor housing
Corporate profiteering
Tax abuses by corporations/rich
Sewage in rivers
Political corruption
It happens because Govts indulge corporations and the rich.
This lesson from the USA should be learnt in the UK. Get these monopolies out of the NHS, no private shareholder ownership of clusters of GPs, get Palantir out of our NHS data contracts, and stop imagining it will be any different than disastrous privatisation of water.
UK billionaire wealth has more than doubled since 2010.
▪️2010: £250 Billion
▪️2025: £620 Billion
Instead of making cuts, the Government should be introducing a Wealth Tax on the very wealthiest in our society.
That's the fairer alternative we need.
Morning. I'm a bit puzzled at why Rayner is talking about closing allotments. We have a large one in our village that I imagine has been there for decades, very well kept by locals and somewhere they enjoy going to chat and socialise as well as grow their prize marrows and enjoy the outdoors. What the feck is wrong with that? What harm is an allotment doing to our government and our country? People need their hobbies and interests, and they need to mix with other like-minded folk. Honestly, this is just cruel towards good people who are probably retired and don't have a big garden or any garden at home, and just want to do something they enjoy.
Anyway, have a great day. 😒
"Can we finally stop pretending that what we have been witnessing in Gaza over the past 22 months is a 'war,' a 'conflict,' or even a 'humanitarian crisis'?...W hat is being livestreamed to our phones on a daily basis is indeed a genocide." https://t.co/i1mJfwV8R0
The only 3 people to benefit from Brexit were.
Johnson - got to be prime minister
Farage - got himself a cult following
Putin - got himself a weaker UK and Europe.
The rest of us just got poorer, more divided, less rights and for some very angry at the world.
There is simply no moral justification for Israel not being subjected to the same scale of sanctions that the UK has brought against Russia for its crimes in Ukraine.
“This landscape of destruction looks otherworldly. Yet it’s not. It is this world. And what is happening may yet come to define one of its darkest eras. One that casts a stain on humanity that will endure for generations.”
Before selling off allotments @AngelaRayner should think again. The 1925 Allotment Act was designed to provide green space for people without gardens to grow their own affordable fruit & vegetables. For many people, they also provide an important outlet for physical & mental health & community friendships. It’s a bad shortsighted policy which should be reversed.
We warned this was happening.
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has been enabled by UK-made arms, intelligence support and the unwavering diplomatic cover of the British government.
Keir Starmer, David Lammy, Rishi Sunak and David Cameron all belong in The Hague.
Once the allotments are gone - they are never coming back.
The youth club I founded had one and the kids loved it.
Why do governments sell off what we own? They are custodians, not the owners.
I rely on doctors to keep me alive.
If my heart wobbles and they arent there, im screwed.
Yet i support the strike by junior (resident) doctors.
Because someone whose bust a gut for years to qualify, who saves lives, is worth 22 quid an hour.
Its not complicated.
