@rockstationonx saying the official reveal will wash this away is exactly why the leaks could work as marketing old harmless footage creates doubt then the polished netflix reveal resolves it replaces the rough impression and gives everyone a reason to tune in
@VandalizedGD not comparable dead artist theories contradict established facts this theory is based on timing harmless content and a direct benefit before august 27 it may be wrong but dismissing it by analogy isnt an argument
The “Take-Two lost $3B” claim is misleading. That was a temporary peak-to-trough change in market value, not $3B leaving the company. TTWO closed Tuesday at $242.40 and reached $242.48 after hours Friday, meaning the entire decline had effectively recovered.

@tdawgsmitty 100%. An inside job would accomplish three things at once: create hype, give fans controlled content after months of silence without revealing anything important, and honor the Netflix partnership by driving a massive audience to the August 27 reveal.

@MonadicRebirth@saweezo A staged adversary wouldn’t praise Rockstar; it would need a believable reason to oppose them. Criticizing monetization makes the persona credible and drives controversy before the Netflix reveal. It’s risky but “the leaker criticized Rockstar” doesn’t disprove staging.
@LarsHaver220690@codyDexter_@saweezo The theory isn’t that Rockstar openly launched a crypto scam. A staged persona would need an outside motive, and crypto provides one while distancing CyberLeek from Rockstar.
@DetectiveSeeds0 The only theory worth entertaining is that this was planned. There is no leaker outdoing subpoenas and a multibillion dollar company.

@mexicanTowelie@NikTek GTA VI already has awareness. The point would be concentrating that attention around August 27 and converting it into Netflix viewers. December offers nowhere to direct the hype. Even people losing hope will tune in to see whether the official footage proves the leaks misleading.
