We listened to a read aloud of the story “Kente Colours” and then used this amazing template by @Kinder_106 to create kente coloured inspired patterns with the beautiful loose parts @StGeorgesJPS
After reading the story 📖 “Thank You Omu!” we discussed how Omu made a green choice ✅ by sharing with others in her community. Students then built creations to showcase other acts of kindness and caring. Thank you @trishanaraine for the template 💛 @StGeorgesJPS
Continuing with our #mentalhealth learning this afternoon. We engaged in “finger breathing” thanks to @CosmicKidsYoga and then co-created a visual of things we are grateful for because reflecting on things that bring us joy can make us feel happy 😃 @StGeorgesJPS @TDSB_MHWB
