The saddest thing about youth unemployment is that many young people did exactly what society told them to do: study, qualify, work hard. Yet opportunities remain out of reach.
My professor used to say, ‘Everything is hard until it’s not.’ I didn’t understand it back then, but I understand it now. The beginning is always the hardest part, but with consistency, the difficulty gradually loses its grip.
The older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure. If you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new really happens. You have to engage the world to win. Travel more. Talk to people.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but GET UP ‼️ Ask God to breathe His Spirit back into you. You’ve been lying dormant for far too long. Ask Him to restore your creativity, your purpose, your joy, your love, your health, and your sound mind. You’ve slept long enough in depression, anxiety, overthinking, bitterness, loneliness, grief, brokenness, financial stress, abandonment wounds, relationship trauma, and destructive habits.
I wrote down every red flag, every hurt, every pattern I kept excusing. Every thing that he did that broke me.
Not to stay bitter, but to stay clear.
Whenever I was tempted to go back, I went back to the truth in my notebook instead.
Sometimes healing means remembering clearly, not romantically, and accepting they didn’t love you.
